Terms of Use

These Terms outline how Piximg works and what you agree to when using the service. They are intentionally short and easy to read. By continuing to use Piximg, you accept these Terms.

1. Definitions

• "Piximg", "we", or "the service" refers to the image hosting platform at pixi.mg.
• "You" refers to any user uploading or accessing content hosted on Piximg.

2. Content you upload

You are responsible for everything you upload. Do not upload:

  • Illegal content (including explicit illegal material of any kind).
  • Copyrighted material without permission.
  • Malware, viruses, harmful scripts or similar payloads.
  • Content promoting hate, violence, or extremism (including hate symbols, terrorist propaganda, or content inciting violence against any individual or group).
  • Harassment, threats, hate speech, or abusive imagery.
  • Personal data you don't have permission to share.

If we receive a valid complaint, legal notice, or detect abuse, the content may be removed.

3. Acceptable use policy

In addition to the restrictions above, you agree not to:

  • Use Piximg to promote violence, terrorism, or illegal activity.
  • Upload content that promotes, incites, or glorifies extremism, including violent extremism, political extremism, or content that dehumanises individuals or groups based on protected characteristics (race, religion, ethnicity, nationality, sexual orientation, gender, disability).
  • Upload content that infringes on others' intellectual property rights.
  • Use the service for spam, phishing, or unsolicited bulk messaging.
  • Create multiple accounts to circumvent storage limits or avoid payment.
  • Use automated systems in ways that cause excessive server load or abuse.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users' accounts or data.

4. Storage & availability

Free accounts: Limited to 10GB of storage, with access to a basic account area.

Pro accounts: 50GB of storage space, with access to the full account area.

Fair use: Piximg storage is for personal image hosting, not as a backup service, archival system, or for bulk automated uploads without prior approval. We reserve the right to remove content that violates fair use or these terms.

We do not guarantee permanent storage. Files may be removed for technical issues, maintenance, excessive bandwidth usage, or service changes. Always keep your own backup copies.

5. Fair use

Automated tools and bulk uploads (ShareX, scripts, etc.) are welcome, as long as they don't cause excessive load or appear abusive. If you need higher limits for legitimate use, please contact us.

6. Accounts & Piximg Pro

Creating an account unlocks additional features including higher storage limits, galleries, tagging, API access, and more. Accounts may be suspended or terminated if used for abuse or illegal activity.

Piximg Pro subscriptions

Free trial: New Pro subscriptions include a 3-day free trial. You will not be charged until the trial period ends. You may cancel at any time during the trial without charge.

Billing: Pro subscriptions are billed monthly (£2/month) or annually (£20/year) via Stripe. All prices are in GBP and include applicable taxes.

Cancellation: You may cancel your Pro subscription at any time from your account settings or via Stripe's customer portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are provided for unused time. Upon cancellation, your account reverts to free tier limits.

Payment disputes: If you dispute a charge with your bank or payment provider, we may suspend or terminate your account pending resolution.

7. Account termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account immediately, without prior notice, if:

  • You violate these Terms of Service or our Acceptable Use Policy.
  • Your account is involved in illegal activity.
  • You abuse the service or attempt to circumvent limitations.
  • We are required to do so by law or court order.

Upon termination, your content may be deleted. We are not responsible for backing up your content.

8. Copyright & DMCA

Piximg respects intellectual property rights. If you believe content hosted on Piximg infringes your copyright, please send a DMCA notice to dmca@pixi.mg including:

  • Your contact information (name, email, phone number).
  • The copyrighted work being infringed.
  • The URL of the infringing content on Piximg.
  • A statement of good faith belief that the use is not authorised.
  • A statement that the information is accurate, and you are authorised to act.
  • Your physical or electronic signature.

We will respond to valid DMCA notices within 48 hours. Repeat copyright infringers will have their accounts terminated. For more details, see our DMCA Policy.

9. No warranties / limitation of liability

Piximg is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We make no guarantees about:

  • Uptime, reliability, or availability of the service.
  • Permanent file storage or data integrity.
  • Fitness for any particular purpose.
  • Freedom from errors or security vulnerabilities.

We are not liable for any loss of data, loss of profits, service interruptions, or damages resulting from your use of Piximg. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the past 12 months, or £100, whichever is less.

You use Piximg at your own risk. Do not rely on it as your sole copy of any file.

10. Your responsibilities

You agree to indemnify and hold Piximg, its operators, and service providers harmless from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

  • Your use of the service.
  • Content you upload or share.
  • Your violation of these Terms.
  • Your violation of any laws or third-party rights.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified via email to registered users. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We recommend checking this page periodically.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
